- Are you a licensed company?
A. Yes. All our drivers are Hackney Carriage licensed drivers with properly insured Hackney Carriage vehicles, fully licensed by Vale of white horse district council.
- Is your service available 24/7?
A. Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
- Do you operate fixed prices?
A. Yes. The prices are fixed for pre booked transfers. But if there are any additional drop-offs or pickups then these may incur additional charges.
- Will I be charged extra if my plane is delayed or early?
A. First 30 Minutes are free. For details please refer to our T&Cs. We track your flight landing time and will be aware of any delays or cancellations and we will dispatch our driver accordingly.
- We have children travelling with us; can you provide child/infant seats?
A. Yes, where a child seat is booked we will endeavour to supply one. We cannot, however, guarantee this due to changing traffic conditions etc. Please tell us the ages of the children and we can provide a child/infant seat with a surcharge of £5 per seat. Car seats are not a legal requirement for travel by minicab in this country.
- What do I do if I can’t locate my driver?
A. Please call us on 01865238485 and our controller will get you in touch with your driver.
- How do I find my driver at the airport?
A. Your driver will be holding a board displaying the Spire Taxis logo and your name. This will be in the arrivals hall usually near the information desk unless specified on booking.
- Is gratuity/service charge included in the price?
A. No. It is the passenger’s choice.
Q: How early do I need to book my car?
A: We recommend you book your car a minimum of 4 hours in advance on the phone. In many cases we are able to provide vehicles on much shorter notice so please call us and check availability.

A: We have a range of vehicles ranging from Saloons, Estates, MPV’s and MPV+ vehicles which can cater for up to 8 passengers.

A: We cover all major U.K airports including all airports in London.
